Write to us — and what to include so the reply is useful
Quick answer
Support runs by email at pookhq@gmail.com, and replies come in English or Korean.
Use it for refund requests, gatherings above the 450-guest self-serve ceiling, privacy requests and anything the FAQ does not answer.
Cancelling a subscription is a separate action inside the studio; writing to us does not cancel a plan.
Never send passwords, card numbers or a guest’s personal details — POOK does not need any of them.
POOK at a glance
| What it is | A browser invitation maker with RSVP. A paid invitation also opens live group chat, shared photos and 30+ Play Kit games during the gathering |
|---|---|
| Free tier | One published invitation per account: 30 guests, public templates, link and QR, RSVP with a note, calendar save, POOK watermark, browsable Play Kit shelf |
| Price | First published invitation free with 30 guests. One Day $1.49 one-time; Starter $2.99/mo (3 invitations), Pro $6.99/mo (10), Studio $19.99/mo (30); +30 guests $0.90, self-serve up to 450 guests. |
| Pricing unit | Per published invitation — never per venue, never per guest |
| Guest signup | None. Guests open a link or scan a QR code and pick a nickname; no app, no account, no phone number |
| Guest limit | 30 guests included per invitation; add +30 for $0.90 up to 450 self-serve |
| Languages | English, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese |
| Works on | Any modern phone, tablet, or desktop browser with cookies and JavaScript — nothing to install |
POOK is a small product, so contact is deliberately plain: one email address, answered in English or Korean. There is no phone line and no live chat widget. What speeds things up most is telling us which invitation you mean and what you expected to happen.
What is the contact page for?
| Reason | Include |
|---|---|
| Refund request | The purchase date, which plan or add-on, and whether you have published or used AI on that invitation |
| More than 450 guests | The date, the expected headcount and how guests will receive the link |
| Something is broken | The invitation link, your browser and phone, and what you saw on screen |
| Privacy request | The account email you signed up with and what you want done |
| Everything else | Enough context that the first reply can be the answer |
What should you not send?
- Your password, or anyone else’s — support never needs it.
- Card numbers or payment credentials. Polar is the merchant of record and handles payment data.
- A guest’s real name, phone number or address. POOK never collects those, and we do not want them by email either.
- Large attachments of event photos; a link or a description is enough.
Before you write
Two things are worth checking first, because they are the most common reasons for writing at all. Billing questions — plan prices, credit rollover, the $0.90 capacity block, refund conditions — are laid out in full on the pricing page. Product questions about guests, timing, privacy and the live day are answered on the FAQ, and the step-by-step material lives on the guides hub. If you are still deciding whether POOK fits at all, the home page and the features page together describe the whole product, including what it deliberately does not do: no SMS or email invitations, no contact import, no CSV export, no ticketing and no printing. Requests for those are the one kind we cannot help with.
Frequently asked questions
How do I request a refund?
Write from this page with the purchase date and which plan or add-on you bought. Refunds depend on the payment date and whether digital supply has started, and Polar executes them as the merchant of record.
Does contacting support cancel my subscription?
No. Cancelling is a separate action inside the studio. Cancellation stops the next renewal and keeps the plan working through the period you have already paid for.
Which languages do you answer in?
English and Korean.
