What an invitation costs, and what changes when you pay

POOK charges for published invitations, not for venues, seats sold or months of nothing happening. The unit is the invitation: a plan gives you a number of publish credits, and each published invitation consumes one. That is the whole model, and the table below is the whole price list.

What does each plan include?

Studio also carries priority support. Every paid plan removes the POOK watermark, opens the full 450-template library, unlocks AI Event DNA with three directions per generation, enables the Dress Rehearsal participant-screen preview, and turns on the live layer — group chat, photos, rooms and the Play Kit — between the invitation’s start and end time.

How does the guest add-on maths work?

Every invitation on every plan starts with 30 guests. Extra capacity is bought in blocks of 30 for $0.90, from the studio, on an invitation you have already published, and it applies as soon as the payment goes through. The add-on is tied to that one invitation and cannot be moved to another.

• 30 guests — included. Nothing to add.
• 60 guests — 30 included + 1 block, so $0.90 on top of the plan.
• 90 guests — 30 included + 2 blocks × $0.90 = $1.80.
• 150 guests — 30 included + 4 blocks × $0.90 = $3.60.
• 450 guests — the self-serve ceiling: 30 included + 14 blocks × $0.90 = $12.60.

Above 450 guests there is no self-serve purchase. Write from the contact page and describe the gathering instead. Capacity is also worth thinking about together with the 24-hour rule: a still-deciding answer stops holding a seat 24 hours before the start, which sometimes saves you a block. There is no waitlist when an invitation is full.

What happens to credits you do not use?

Unused monthly publish credits roll over for six months from the month they were issued, on Starter, Pro and Studio alike. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the credits you have already used carry across and you are charged only the prorated difference. Cancelling is cancel-at-period-end: the plan keeps working through the period you have paid for, and simply does not renew. One Day is a one-time purchase of a single credit rather than a subscription.

How are you charged?

USD is the single charged currency. A local-currency figure may appear next to it, always labelled as approximate — the amount that reaches your card is the USD one. Tax is added at checkout, not included in the prices above. Polar is the payment provider and the merchant of record for every purchase, which is also who executes refunds.

Can you get a refund?

Refunds depend on the payment date and on whether digital supply has started — that means AI generation, publishing, or capacity actually being applied. In summary:

• Full refund within 7 days if no paid feature has been used.
• One Day: refundable before you publish; publishing counts as supply starting.
• Starter, Pro and Studio: refundable within 7 days of the charge if that cycle’s new credits and AI are unused. Otherwise the current cycle is non-refundable and cancellation stops the next renewal.
• The +30 capacity add-on: full refund before capacity actually increases; after that it is non-transferable.
• Tax is handled proportionally by Polar.

Requests go through the contact page. Cancelling a subscription is a separate action inside the studio — asking for a refund does not cancel a plan, and cancelling does not refund the current period.

Who should not pay for POOK?

If you need to sell tickets, take money from guests, mail paper invitations, run a wedding workflow with plus-ones and meal choices, export the guest list into a spreadsheet, or plug the RSVP data into a CRM, none of that exists here and no plan adds it. Annual billing is not something to plan around either.
